The majority of ATA members are tapestry weavers, but membership is open to anyone interested in tapestry. As of July 2011, ATA has over 560 members from 25 countries around the world. Through outreach and educational programs, ATA hopes to broaden our membership base and to promote contemporary tapestry to a wider spectrum of people. ATA welcomes membership inquiries from weavers, curators, academics and architects, all of whom add valuable perspective to the work of the organization.
