STI 3 is opening at the Handforth Gallery in Tacoma Saturday, June 29th. The opening is from 2:00-4:00. Shelley Socolofsky will be giving a talk at 2:30. Read more.

She learned to weave when she moved to the Magdalena Mountains of New Mexico in 2004. Her first weaving teacher not only taught her about weaving, but also, about sheep ranching, lambing, shearing and wool processing. She started out weaving rugs on a Rio Grande style “walking loom.” Read more.
