Support Dovecot Studios!

Monday, June 29th, 2020

Dovecot Studios is seeking donations to develop a major exhibition of Archie Brennan’s tapestries. Despite Archie Brennan’s huge influence in both the weaving and art world, there has never been a major exhibition of his work. With your help, Dovecot can change that. Donate to Dovecot’s #ArtHappens campaign here and be part of telling Archie’s story. Follow #ArchieBrennan to read more or watch a video about the project here.

COVID-19 Response

Monday, April 20th, 2020

After careful consideration and many discussions, the ATA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel all of our activities in Knoxville, TN scheduled for July 2020.  This includes the Speakers Session, Digislam, Members’ Meeting and the Members’ Retreat Workshops.  Members who were scheduled to participate in the ATA Members’ Retreat have been notified separately and will be fully reimbursed for their fees.

During this difficult and changing time of the COVID-19 pandemic the Board remains committed to providing high quality and safe programing.  As we announced earlier, Renditions, the exhibition originally scheduled for Knoxville, will now be an online exhibition with a printed catalog.  We recently announced the BTG/ATA Weavers Applaud project and we encourage you to participate in this visual show of appreciation for all medical and front-line workers.

We thank you all for your patience.  We especially thank all of the many ATA volunteers who have been working diligently through these difficult times.
On Behalf of the ATA Board of Directors, Susan Iverson, President
