ATA is excited to roll out a new program! The Ambassador Program features weavers who bring a diverse and expanded worldview to tapestry. Kevin Aspaas is a Dine weaver and fiber artist residing in Shiprock, NM. He will be sharing his experience as a shepherd, dyer, and weaver working within traditional Navajo practices. ATA is excited for the arrival of the opening of the American Tapestry Biennial at San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles on June 18th and runs through September 12, 2021. Go here for more details.

The show opens March 14-June 13, 2021 at the Gallery of Wood Art in St. Paul, Minnesota and then travels to the Lincoln City Cultural Center in Lincoln City, Oregon from July 2-August 27, 2021. Out of 76 entries, 15 artists were chosen to be included.
