Inge Nørgaard’s Statement

I am essentially a wanderer. Sitting by the loom I love to revisit the myths and mythologies of the world.

To shout out about the social political issues and to then contemplate the peace of nature. It all comes from within and gets spun into my life thread from which I weave.

The Hem of the Sky: The Delta is a tapestry in three panels, inspired by the San Joaquin river delta and estuary, California. It is installed at the St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, California.
