Marilyn says, “My journey as an artist has been to find an expression of a vision of creation: dynamic, powerful, colorful, mysterious, compelling. A deep study of music, as well as Sacred Geometry, informs my tapestries. “Evening In The Garden,” is a piece adapted from a cartoon by Kerstin Mauritzson, as a part of my study of Flemish/Swedish tapestry. The flower forms remind me of the Vesica Pisces, the sacred geometry form for light, a shape that continues to be a part of most of my tapestry weaving.”
