Location: Harrania Village in Giza. On the road to the Sakkarah Step Pyramid and only 3 miles to the Great Pyramids.
Hours: Daily 10.00 am to 5.00 pm
Working Artists: 32 adult artists work in the studios.
Public Areas:
- Tapestry museum with a 60 year history of tapestries including many early works.
- Art gallery with new tapestries and batiks for sale including pottery by Suzanne Wissa Wassef.
- Museum of the work of modern figurative sculptor Habib Gorgi (1892-1965).
- Other open areas of the grounds with gardens.
Collections: The tapestries are in the collection of Victoria Albert Museum, the British Museum, American University Cairo, US Embassy Cairo, Cairo Opera House and Presidential Banquet Room
