In the Heart of Europe: Hungarian Tapestry Art

This exhibition features the work of Hungarian tapestry weavers whose work was included in the grandiose Kárpit exhibition. The event not only bring the cream of the international contemporary tapestry art to the heart of Europe but also removed the local and unknown Hungarian tapestry art from its isolation and anonymity, connecting the best local products of the genre to the mainstream currents worldwide. Read the accompanying essay In the Heart of Europe to learn more about the work included in the exhibition.
