Mariana Ortega currently teaches tapestry around Mexico and at her studio “MAROG Mexican Textiles Workshop” located in San Luis Potosi, S.L.P, Mexico. Known for her work in shaped tapestries, Ortega expands upon her practice and how she came to develop an array of portraits capturing her unique perspective.
