Curator’s Biography
Micala Sidore has been weaving for 40 years, specializing in tapestry since 1979. She spent the mid-1980s as an intern at the French National Studios, les Gobelins. Her work has been exhibited in several group and solo shows in the US as well as Poland. She has lectured throughout the US, Canada, Western and Eastern Europe, Japan, Australia, and Israel, and more than 35 of her articles have appeared in American, European, and Australian publications.
